I've been making my own jewelry creations for almost 15 years now. It started when I found I couldn't find the delicate Y-necklaces that I loved so much in a longer length. My best friend and I decided we wanted to figure out how to make our own! Then my styles and designs just went on from there. I've been selling them on eBay for a few years now (see my auctions listed under LizsLittleLuxuries) and have had A TON of great feedback! My designs are primarily made of gold or silver plated findings and are all hand-wired. I use only glass or high quality acrylic pearls. I'm sure you'll be happy with the quality and the time that goes into producing each piece.
About Renaissance Jewelry: From 1400 into the early 1600's, jewelry styles included the simple to the elaborate. These pieces represent those worn by the nobles and upper class: pearls in abundance, semi-precious and precious stones in cabochon shape (smooth, rounded top); cameos; gold and silver colored metal chain and settings and the limited appearance of faceted stones.
